The Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv are proud to invite you to the events celebrating "The Days of the Francophonie", between March 1-20, 2013. The Romanian participation in the events will be represented by a jazz concert performed by three students from the Israeli Conservatory in Tel Aviv- the Jazz Music Department, and by a national stand organized by the Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel.

The recital will take place Friday, March 1st, at 12.30 p.m., at the headquarters of the French Institute in Tel Aviv (7 Rotschild Blvd., telephone: 03 796 80 00). The International Day of the Francophonie has been celebrated worldwide each year on March 20, since 1998. The French Embassy and the French Institute, in collaboration with institutions of the various francophone states, are organizing a series of cultural events in Israel, under the title "The Days of the Francophonie".

This year, joining France (the French Institute in Israel and the French Embassy) in the celebrations are the following  countries: Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Greece, Switzerland, Vietnam, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon and Romania. 

The program includes a series of activities, ranging from seminars, conferences, performances, concerts to educational visits to the most important francophone high schools and schools in Israel.
