The President of Georgia-Israeli business chamber Itsik Moshe addresses the Culture Ministries of Georgia and Israel. As InterPressNews has been informed by the Georgia-Israeli business chamber , Itsik Moshe introduced his initiative to give An Honorary Place in the Holocoust museum in Jerusalem for Georgians who saved the lives of Jewish people and set up “Khaside Umot Aolam” corner in the Georgian national museum, which will present the unique relations between Georgia and Israel.

Itsik Moshe addressed the Ministries of culture of Georgia and Israel regarding the Day of 8 April. On this day Israel marks its Holocaust Remembrance Day.
“Israreli businessmen, who work abroad, are proud representatives of a strong Israel. Israeli activity abroad means a strong Israel and this is the only sign of victory over the Holocaust. Businessmen bring kindness, initiative, investment and by this new bridges are built between the countries. Business activity is important for us, especially in our friend country of Georgia. We must tell this nation that our friends in the world don’t forget the stain from the crime committed against mankind, not to forget the cry for help from the 6 million Jews in the death camps – Shema Israel”, Moshe said.
He said that the world has to response to the new threats against Israel.
“Israel is on the front line today and a living fence of protection to the world from the murders, which will turn into a disaster for the world and Europe tomorrow. We don’t have the right to forget or to forgive. We are obliged to bring kindness to the world, with our activity and build strong bridges of friendship. We must remember 6 million Jews today. We must remember the Holocaust day. We must remember that their only “sin” was that they were born as Jews”, Itsik Moshe said.
He said this will increase ties between Georgia and Georgian Jews and have a huge influence on Georgia-Israel and Jews in the world. Itsik Moshe said that during World War II, Jews were saved by Georgians too. Namely, by Grigol Feradze, Saba Kldiashvili and Mikheil Kedia.
