Embassy of Kazakhstan to Israel held a round table

On November 29 at the Journalists House in Tel Aviv the Kazakh Embassy held a round table on "Effective cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel in the framework of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the CICA".
It was attended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan B.Nurgaliev, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel A.Azari and Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Absorption Z.Hanin.
Mr. Nurgaliyev reminded that Israel was one of the first countries which joined the CICA, and its chief rabbis play a very important role in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
The Ambassador said: "All the countries of the CICA should equally participate in the Conference, and non-landlocked countries should help their colleagues within the organization who are in the depths of the continent".
A.Azari stressed that Kazakhstan is important for Israel since a vast amount of its energy resources are exported from this Central Asian state. She also congratulated all citizens of Kazakhstan of the election of Astana to host the world exhibition EXPO-2017.
"We are pretty positive that EXPO is going to be a success, that is why it was very easy for us to support it".
Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Absorption Z.Hanin focused guests attention on the ideas of tolerance promoted by Kazakhstan. He highlighted the fact that Kazakhstan is using its capacity to promote intercultural and interreligious dialogue, not violence.
"Astana is suceeded to promote not only international but an internal dialogue as well".
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, political circles, as well as prominent scientists were invited for this round table.
