U.S. Embassy Grants Invitations to its July 4th party
Facebook contest winners to attend gala event
For the third year, the U.S. Embassy in Israel is holding a contest for a chance to attend the American Independence Day party
at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Herzliya. As part of the contest, the public is asked to comment on iconic images
from American history posted on the Embassy’s Facebook page each day and complete the following sentence:
“This image inspires me about America because _________________.” The Embassy’s staff will choose a winning
entry for each picture based on creativity and originality, and the winner will receive a pair of invitations to the party
at the Ambassador’s official residence on Thursday, July 4, 2013. All guests, including the winners of the contest,
are subject to a security check.
