Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Monday, 25 March 2013), has decided to allow the transfer of tax funds to the Palestinian Authority. The decision was made as per the opinion of the Security Cabinet. Accordingly, Finance Minister Yair Lapid will direct personnel of his ministry to resume the transfer of funds.

The reconciliation between Israel and Turkey is a very important development that will help advance the cause of peace and stability in the region. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Prime Minister Erdogan deserve great credit for showing the leadership necessary to make this possible.
