The development and use of energy of sources is proving to be one of the most essential strategic issues facing the Middle East. Significant demographic changes, coupled with urbanization and other related processes have resulted in a dramatic increase in energy needs. In order to ensure sustainable development for various populations in the area, traditional energy sources must be combined with other sources of energy, in particular the various sources of renewable energy. Indeed, the development of a sustainable energy policy is an essential platform for regional cooperation. With this in mind, the Center is organizing an international conference which will deal with the role of traditional energy sources, atomic energy, and renewable energy in our changing reality. The conference will include leading figures such as Dr. Uzi Landau, Minister of Energy and Water, MK Binyamin (Fuad) Ben Eliezer, former Minister of National Infrastructures,H.E. Ambassador Andrew Standley, Head of the European Union Delegation to Israel, and several others.
